iPhone SE – Is it worth it in 2020?

Apple always has been high in prices and even it’s affordable iPhone 11 costs 70K in the Indian market. But we saw some affordable offerings from iPhone SE which was launched back then with the same processor as the iPhone 6S and with the body of iPhone 5.

It’s 2020 and high-performance phones are no more affordable and cost 80000-90000 or more to 1 Lakh. But we have a new iPhone SE (2020) that has A13 bionic and starts from 42,500 in India. Let’s discuss the specs.

Display

iPhone SE has a 4.7” inch LCD Display with 625 nits of brightness. The bezels are thick and it has the body of iPhone 8 with the Apple Logo shifted down to match the series 11 iPhones. This might be the only reason you may not consider this iPhone. The Front is black in all colors unlike that of previous devices.

Camera

iPhone SE features a 12 MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera with Digital zoom up to 5x, Portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control, Portrait Lighting with six effects (Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High-Key Mono), Optical image stabilization.

In the video department, it supports 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps. The extended dynamic range for video up to 30 fps. Optical image stabilization for video

This can be the best camera phone under 400$ and 40,000 INR. If not in the photography department but it can surely be the best videography phone.

Performance

iPhone SE houses the same A13 Bionic chip as those of iPhone 11 Pro. And is the best iPhone Chip offering high performance to such a small form factor phone! This is a beast for sure in the performance. The chipset has already proved itself in the flagships. The device will easily perform best in PUBG mobile and other heavy games. It is better than the previous SE in terms of looks and specs. The iPhone SE has a touch id instead of the face id.

Battery

The iPhone SE has 1821 mAh of battery and also supports fast charging via an 18W charger from apple. Alongside it also supports wireless charging.

Overall Verdict

This is one of the best least expensive devices, an iPhone SE (2020) that would be on your bucket list if you have a very good primary device. For those who are thinking that it has only one camera and just 1821 mAh battery and old look. Then you should be looking for the performance this device is a performance monster and will be better than those devices with 3-4 cameras. This is a must-have and has opened the door for those who are looking for a less priced iPhone and this as per my thought will seek the same attention as the old iPhone SE. This device is also IP67 certified. And those white and red colors I am a fan of both. And yes it has a dual sim one via an eSIM and one physical.
