Realme C2

The Realme C2 is a budget smartphone that comes with impressive features. It has a fairly good battery backup and cameras for an affordable entry level device. The performance of the phone is also admirable, and it has handled most games, videos, and tasks with ease. One drawback of the phone is that it lacks a fingerprint scanner.

Realme C2 brings a modish look to the entry-level segment. Upfront, we have a 6.1-inch HD+ Dewdrop display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The phone’s decent display with fair color accuracy leaves us wishing it were a bit brighter too. The tiny notch cutout leaves most space for status bar icons and aids in an immersive display consumption.

The phone is quite affordable, and has a dual-camera setup. It is one of the most affordable smartphones with a dual camera set-up available in India. The phone has a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup, with a main camera sensor and a 2MP depth-sensor. It features a Chroma Boost, that allows a boost in camera colours, and makes it more appealing to the eyes. The phone can record 80 frames per second slow-motion videos at 640 x 480 resolution. It has an 5MP front facing camera for clicking images. The company claims that both the front and rear cameras are assisted by AI. The camera comes with features like Digital Zoom, Face detection, LED flash, Panaroma, and HDR.   The Realme C2 has an inbuilt light and proximity sensor.

The Realme C2 is a budget offering, and its specifications are quite modest. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, which is an octa-core processor with Cortex-A53 cores, and is built using a 12nm manufacturing process. Also included in the base variant are 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Realme has managed to pack a 4000mAh battery inside the C2, and this phone ships with a 10W charger in the box. It is a dual-SIM device and has two Nano-SIM slots. There is support for 4G as well as VoLTE on both SIMs.

Overall Verdict

This is a nice budget phone with the specs it offers. The phone design feels nice and good to hold. This goes against redmi 7 and nokia 5. This should be your pick if looking for a low on budget phone. If you increase more than you can go for Realme 5.
